You would be providing individual, family and group therapy to youth in state custody due to abuse/neglect in our residential programs as well as Treatment Foster Care program.
Primary Position
Responsibilities:
Develop positive relationships with clients and team members Facilitate initiation of care Conduct therapeutic assessments, treatment plans, and treatment progress reports Manage crisis intervention as needed and provide referrals for community resources Support the Agencys trauma-informed model, Trust-Based Relational Intervention Therapy is provided in person in most instances, but can be virtual as needed Perks of this position:
Flexible schedule with more flexibility during summer months Some work from home allowed Mileage reimbursement or use of agency vehicle Initial and on-going training in trauma-informed care and other subjects pertinent to job Excellent supervisory support from Clinical Services Director
Qualifications:
Masters in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or closely related field LPC or LCSW, or currently eligible for licensing in the State of Missouri Minimum of one year relevant counseling experience required MBCH Children and Family Ministries is a non-profit, Christian organization that is seeking candidates who share our Christian faith, values, and ministry focus Training and experience in trauma-related counseling and crisis intervention a plus Recommended Skills Assessments Crisis Intervention Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw) Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc) Psychology Social Work Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
